How to participate

Step 1

Spend

Charge the minimum Qualifying Spend of S$600 to your HSBC Live+ Credit Card from 30 May to 31 July 2025.

Step 2

Earn additional cashback

If you have successfully qualified for the promotion, the Cashback will be credited to your HSBC Live+ Credit Card account by 19 September 2025.

HSBC Live+ Credit Card – Fuel Your Fun Promotion 2025 (“Promotion”) Terms and Conditions
(Commences on 30 May 2025 and ends on 31 July 2025)

A. Promotion-Specific Terms and Conditions

  1. This Promotion:
    1.   is offered by HSBC Bank (Singapore) Limited (“HSBC“, “we” or “us“);
    2.  commences on 30 May 2025 and ends on 31 July 2025, both dates inclusive(or such other date(s) as we may reasonably determine) (the “Promotional Period“); and
    3. subject to the remaining terms of this Promotion, is applicable to selected customers who hold a HSBC Live+ Credit Card issued by HSBC in Singapore (each, a “Card“) as a primary credit cardholder; and who have been notified via an EDM and/or Push Notification sent by HSBC, in respect of this Promotion (each such customer, a “Cardholder“); and who meet all the following criteria (in no particular order) during the Promotional Period (collectively referred to as “Eligible Cardholders” and each, an “Eligible Cardholder“):
      1. Be among the first 200 Cardholders to charge a minimum Qualifying Spend of S$600 to their Card within the Promotional Period. No registration is needed for this Promotion.
      2. For the purpose of this Promotion:

        Qualifying Spend” shall mean posted retail transactions (in the case of HSBC Spend Instalment, only the total purchase amount will qualify as a Qualifying Spend in the month of purchase), and shall exclude the following transactions (which shall, where applicable, be determined based on the transaction descriptions reflected in HSBC’s system and the merchant category codes from Visa / Mastercard):

        • Foreign exchange transactions (including but not limited to Forex.com);
        • Donations and payments to charitable, social organisations and religious organisations;
        • Quasi-cash transactions (including but not limited to transactions relating to money orders, traveler’s checks, gaming related transactions, lottery tickets and gambling);
        • Payments made to financial institutions, securities brokerages or dealers (including but not limited to the trading of securities, investments or crypto-currencies of any kind);
        • Payments on money payments/transfers (including but not limited to Paypal, SKR skrill.com, CardUp, SmoovPay, iPayMy)
        • Payments to any professional services provider (including but not limited to GOOGLE Ads, Facebook Ads, Amazon Web Services, MEDIA TRAFFIC AGENCY INC);
        • Top-ups, money transfers or purchase of credits of prepaid cards, stored-value cards or e-wallets (including but not limited to EZ-Link, Transitlink, NETS Flashpay and Youtrip);
        • Payments in connection with any government institutions and/or services (including but not limited to court costs, fines, bail and bond payment);
        • Any AXS and ATM transactions;
        • Tax payments (except HSBC Tax Payment Facility);
        • Payments for cleaning, maintenance and janitorial services (including property management fees);
        • Payments to insurance companies (including but not limited to sales, underwriting, premiums and insurance services);
        • Payments to educational institutions;
        • Payments on utilities;
        • The monthly instalment amounts under all card instalment plan (including HSBC 0% Card Instalment Payment Plan, HSBC PayLater Instalment Plan and HSBC Spend Instalment);
        • Total purchase amount under HSBC 0% Instalment Payment Plan and HSBC PayLater Instalment Plan;
        • Balance transfers, fund transfers, cash advances, finance charges, late charges, HSBC’s Cash Instalment Plan, any fees charged by HSBC;
        • Any unposted, cancelled, disputed and refunded transactions.

        A Merchant Category Code (“MCC“) is a four-digit number assigned to a merchant/business by the merchant’s acquiring bank. The acquiring bank provides the credit card payment facilities used by the merchant and it determines and applies (with respect to the account), the MCC which in its view best describes the merchant activity. HSBC does not determine the merchant’s MCC.

        For the avoidance of doubt, transactions made at merchants with the following MCCs will not earn Cashback. The following list of MCCs may be updated by HSBC from time to time.

  2. Each Eligible Cardholder will be entitled to S$40 cashback (the “Cashback“).
  3. Each Eligible Cardholder is limited to a maximum of one (1) Cashback.
  4. All Qualifying Spend with transaction dates charged within the Promotional Period must be posted to a Cardholder’s Card account by 31 July 2025. HSBC accepts no liability for any late submission of any transaction by merchants for whatever reason.
  5. If any Qualifying Spend is cancelled or reversed during or after the Promotional Period such that the total Qualifying Spend charged to the Card during the Promotional Period falls short of the relevant minimum Qualifying Spend, the relevant Cardholder will not be considered to have met the Qualifying Spend and will not be considered a Qualified Cardholder.
  6. Supplementary cardholders are not eligible for this Promotion. However, for each primary Cardholder who is a Cardholder, Qualifying Spend made by supplementary cardholders will be consolidated under such primary Cardholder’s Card account for the purpose of accumulating the relevant minimum Qualifying Spend.
  7. Eligible Cardholders must also ensure that they meet the following requirements:
    1.  his/her Card account with us must be in good standing for the entire Promotional Period up to and including the time in which the Cashback is awarded to the Eligible Cardholder; and
    2. his/her Card account with us is not closed within the entire Promotional Period up to and including the end of the fulfilment period.
  8. Each Qualified Cardholder will receive the Cashback in their Card account by 19 September 2025.
  9. Barring any unforeseen technical delays, each Eligible Cardholder will be notified via SMS sent to their registered mobile number in HSBC’s records by 19 September 2025, after we reasonably determine that all criteria under this Promotion have been met. Any request for early or partial fulfilment of the Cashback will not be granted or entertained by us.
  10. HSBC is not responsible in any manner whatsoever for any non-receipt of, or delay in the receipt of, any SMS by any party. This will include situations where HSBC is informed of the SMS’s unsuccessful delivery.
  11. In the event that the Card is voluntarily or involuntarily cancelled or terminated or suspended for any reasons whatsoever, or an Eligible Cardholder is determined by HSBC (in its sole discretion) not to have fulfilled the conditions of the Promotion for any reason, HSBC reserves the right to disqualify the Eligible Cardholder at its sole discretion.
  12. The Promotion is not valid in conjunction with other offers, campaigns, promotions, privileges and vouchers, except for the promotions stated below, or such other promotions as we may otherwise specify from time to time.

    In other words, the same customer cannot receive both the Cashback under this Promotion, and any other reward, gift or account credit or promotional rate from other promotions, other than those which are stated above or as we may otherwise specify from time to time.

  13. Other general terms and conditions governing this Promotion apply. Please refer to the other terms and conditions set out under the section headed “General Terms and Conditions” for details. The Promotion-Specific Terms and Conditions and the General Terms and Conditions shall collectively be referred to as the “Promotional Terms and Conditions“.
  14. B. General Terms and Conditions

  15. We may determine in our reasonable discretion whether any given customer is eligible for this Promotion and/or whether such customer has met all of the relevant requirements under these Promotional Terms and Conditions.
  16. Our records in respect of the Promotion shall be conclusive and binding on you.
  17. We may revise these Promotional Terms and Conditions (including but not limited to varying the promotional mechanics under this Promotion or the Promotional Period), or withdraw or alter any part of this Promotion at any time, if it is reasonably necessary to:
    1.   reflect changes to our operational costs, business operations, systems and processes, our arrangements with third parties or industry or market conditions or practice;
    2.  give effect to applicable law, rule, regulation or change, requirement, order, notice, recommendation or guidance issued by any regulatory or governmental authority, stock exchange, or body having jurisdiction over us or a court of competent jurisdiction;
    3. align with standards or expectations on practices relating to banking and financial services, environmental, social and governance, consumer and investor protection, cyber, digital, technology, operational resilience or taxation; or
    4. otherwise protect our legitimate interests.

    The updates include amendments to:

    1. the Promotional Period;
    2. the definition of Eligible Cardholder;
    3. the eligibility criteria for the Promotion;
    4. the type of Reward or Gift;
    5. the redemption period or criteria for a Reward or Gift;
    6.  the limit to the number of Rewards or Gifts available for redemption under the Promotion;
    7. the validity period of a Reward or Gift; and/or
    8. the merchant(s) providing the Reward or Gift.

    To the extent reasonably practicable, we’ll give you reasonable notice of any changes to these Promotional Terms and Conditions before such change takes effect. Notification of any such changes may be placed at our branches, published on our website, sent through email or mobile, or via any other method we think is reasonably appropriate.

    If you don’t agree with a change, you can cease to participate in this Promotion.

  18. None and no part of these Promotional Terms and Conditions may be recorded, reproduced, shared, copied, stored or transmitted in any form or by any means, whether electronic, mechanical, photocopying, photographing, recording or otherwise without our prior written consent. These Promotional Terms and Conditions remain our property and all our rights are reserved.
  19. These Promotional Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
