Terms & Conditions of the Live Your Adventure:
Sure-Win Spin Promotion

    (A) Eligibility

  1. This Live Your Adventure: Sure-Win Spin (“Promotion“) is valid from 13 January to 13 April 2025, both dates inclusive (“Promotional Period“) unless otherwise stated, and is offered by HSBC Bank (Singapore) Limited (“HSBC” or the “Bank“) to customers:
    1. who hold a HSBC Personal Line of Credit Account (the “Account“)
    2. who hold one or more main HSBC Credit Cards (except HSBC US dollar cards, HSBC corporate cards, and HSBC debit cards) issued by HSBC in Singapore (each, a “Card“) as a primary credit cardholder; and
    3. whose Card account is in good standing with HSBC over the entire Promotional Period and at the time of fulfillment (as determined by HSBC at its discretion),

    (each such customer, a “Eligible Customer“).

  2. HSBC reserves the right to determine at our discretion whether:
    1. Eligible Customer(s) have met all the requirements of this Promotion; and
    2. Charges made to the Card qualify towards fulfilment of the relevant accumulated minimum Qualifying Spend (as defined below) set for the purposes of this Promotion.
  3. (B) Promotion Mechanics

  4. To participate in this Promotion, an Eligible Customer must meet one or more of the following criteria:
    1. Successfully apply for a main HSBC Credit Card during the Promotional Period, activate and make a minimum of 10 transactions in 30 days from card account open date
    2. Successfully apply for a main HSBC Premier Mastercard during the Promotional Period, and activate and make a minimum of 10 transactions in 30 days from card account open date
    3. Successfully apply for a HSBC Cash Instalment Plan or Card Balance Transfer with a minimum loan size of S$15,000 and a loan tenor of at least 12 months
    4. Successfully apply for a HSBC Personal Line of Credit Instalment Plan with a minimum loan size of S$15,000 and a tenor of at least 12 months.
    5. Subject to Clause 10, register for this Promotion during the Promotional Period via the HSBC Credit Card Campaign Registration Form (“E-Form“) using the code SPIN (each successfully registered Eligible Customer shall be a “Registered Customer” and the Card used by him/her to make the registration will be a “Registered Card“)

      i. Charge a minimum Qualifying Spend of S$1,800 on any of the Eligible Categories during the Promotional Period. OR/AND

      ii. Be among the first 1,875 Registered Customer to charge a minimum Qualifying Spend of S$5,000 on any of the Eligible Categories during the Promotional Period.

  5. By participating in this Promotion, an Eligible Customer agree that HSBC and Our Service Providers may collect, use and disclose your information (including personal data), as provided in this entry form, for the following purposes in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and our data protection policy:
    1. To administer this lucky draw, including to contact you for the administration of prizes in relation to this lucky draw.
    2. To disclose and/or publish your name, particulars, and pictures/photographs for publicity purposes.
  6. Each Eligible Customer that meets the criteria specified in Clause 7, 8, 9 & 10 shall be referred to as a “Qualified Customer” and will be allocated the following spins as defined below (“Spin“) to participate in the Sure-Win Spin (“Game“). HSBC shall in its absolute discretion determine if a Eligible Customer has satisfied the terms and conditions of this Promotion. HSBC’s records relating to this Promotion including any details relating to registration and Qualifying Spend shall be final and binding on all Eligible Customers.

  7. Each Qualified Customer can receive a maximum of up to three (3) Spins.
    For the avoidance of doubt, an Eligible Customer that meet more than one criterion under Clause 3 will be allocated an aggregate number of Spins based on the total number of criteria met. By way of illustration:

  8. For the purposes of Clause 3a & 3b, Eligible Customers have 30 days from the time their credit card account is opened to make any 10 spend transactions using their new physical credit card and/or virtual credit card accessible through the HSBC Singapore Mobile app. The credit card account open date can be verified through the SMS sent to the customer’s registered mobile number in HSBC’s records when the credit card is approved.
  9. For the purposes of Clause 3c, Eligible Customers who have applied HSBC Cash Instalment Plan and subsequently cancel their Instalment Plan are required to refund HSBC the full Gifts and/or Prizes amount. The terms and conditions of this Live Your Adventure: Sure-Win Spin should be read in conjunction with the prevailing HSBC Cash Instalment Plan Terms and Conditions and HSBC Balance Transfer Terms and Conditions, the latest copy of which is available online at HSBC Singapore website > Borrowing > Credit Card Features and Services > Cash Instalment Plan, Balance Transfer.
  10. For the purposes of Clause 3d, Eligible Customers who have received the Prize/ Prizes and subsequently cancel their Personal Line of Credit Instalment Plan or make premature repayments (partial or full) to the Account are required to repay HSBC the full Prize/ Prizes amount. The terms and conditions of this Live Your Adventure: Sure-Win Spin should be read in conjunction with the prevailing HSBC Personal Line of Credit Instalment Plan Terms and Conditions, the latest copy of which is available online at https://www.hsbc.com.sg/loans/products/personal-line-of-credit/instalment-plan/.
  11. For the purposes of Clause 3e:

    Qualifying Spend” shall mean posted retail transactions including Local Retail Transactions, Online Transactions and Overseas Transactions on eligible categories charged to a Registered Card account (as defined below) and/or to the account of the supplementary cardholder of the relevant Registered Customer (as defined below) during the Promotional Periods.

    Local Retail Transactions” shall mean retail transactions which are successfully carried out in Singapore dollars and charged to a Registered Card account and/or to the account of the supplementary cardholder of the relevant Registered Customer.

    Online Transactions” shall mean all retail transactions successfully charged to a Registered Card account and/or to the account of a supplemental cardholder of a Registered Customer made via the internet and processed by the respective merchants/acquirers as an online transaction type through the MasterCard International Incorporated and/or Visa Worldwide networks during the Promotional Period.

    Overseas Transactions” shall mean all overseas transactions successfully carried out outside Singapore and charged in foreign currency to a Registered Card account and/or to the account of a supplemental cardholder of a Registered Customer during the Promotional Period.

    For the avoidance of doubt, the Eligible Categories are determined by the following Merchant Category Codes (“MCC“). A Merchant Category Code (MCC) is a four-digit number assigned to a merchant/business by the merchant’s acquiring bank. The acquiring bank provides the credit card payment facilities used by the merchant and it determines and applies (with respect to the account), the MCC which in its view best describes the merchant activity. HSBC does not determine the merchant’s MCC.

    Excluded Transactions” shall mean any of the following (which shall, where applicable, be determined based on the transaction descriptions reflected in HSBC’s system and the merchant category codes from Visa/ MasterCard):

    • Foreign exchange transactions (including but not limited to Forex.com);
    • Donations and payments to charitable, social organisations and religious organisations;
    • Quasi-cash transactions (including but not limited to transactions relating to money orders, traveler’s checks, gaming related transactions, lottery tickets and gambling);
    • Payments made to financial institutions, securities brokerages or dealers (including but not limited to the trading of securities, investments or crypto-currencies of any kind);
    • Payments on money payments/transfers (including but not limited to Paypal, SKR skrill.com, CardUp, SmoovPay, iPayMy);
    • Payments to any professional services provider (including but not limited to GOOGLE Ads, Facebook Ads, Amazon Web Services, MEDIA TRAFFIC AGENCY INC);
    • Top-ups, money transfers or purchase of credits of prepaid cards, stored-value cards or e-wallets (including but not limited to Grab Top-Up, EZ-Link, Transitlink, NETS Flashpay and Youtrip);
    • Payments in connection with any government institutions and/or services (including but not limited to court costs, fines, bail and bond payment);
    • Payments to educational institutions;
    • Any AXS (including AXS Pay+Earn) and ATM transactions;
    • Any payments or transactions on Carousell;
    • Tax payments;
    • Payments for cleaning, maintenance and janitorial services (including property management fees);
    • Payments to insurance companies (including but not limited to sales, underwriting, premiums and insurance services);
    • Payments on utilities;
    • The monthly instalment amounts under the HSBC Spend Instalment and HSBC 0% Card Instalment Plans; In the case of HSBC Spend Instalment, only the total purchase amount will qualify as a Qualifying Spend in the month of purchase.
    • Balance transfers, fund transfers, cash advances, finance charges, late charges, HSBC’s Cash Instalment Plan, any fees charged by HSBC;
    • Any unposted, cancelled, disputed and refunded transactions,
    1. Registrations that are not made using the E-Form, and registrations with incorrect information and/or with incorrect registration codes will be automatically disqualified. If the Gift Code consists of a spelling error, the registration will be void and you will not be eligible for this Promotion.
    2. Eligible Customers only need to register their interest once during the Promotional Period. An acknowledgement of participation will be displayed on the website after the E-Form has been submitted. This acknowledgement of participation is not an indication of whether an Eligible Customer has met the eligibility criteria of this Promotion.
    3. All Qualifying Spend must be posted to the Registered Customer’s Registered Card account by 20 April 2025. HSBC accepts no liability for any late submission of any transaction by merchants for whatever reason.
    4. If any Qualifying Spend is cancelled or reversed during or after the Promotional Period, such cancelled or reversed amount shall not be counted for the purposes of determining whether the Registered Customer has met the Qualifying Spend requirements under Clause 3e.
    5. If a Registered Customer holds more than one Card in his/her name, all Qualifying Spend transactions charged to those Cards will be aggregated together for the purposes of determining whether the Registered Customer has met the Qualifying Spend requirements under Clause 3e.
    6. Supplementary cardholders are not eligible for this Promotion. However, if a main Registered Customer has one or more supplementary cards under his/her main Registered Card account, Qualifying Spend made by the supplementary cardholders will be consolidated under such main Registered Card account for the purpose of determining whether the Registered Customer has met the Qualifying Spend requirements under Clause 3e.
    7. A Registered Customer who has satisfied all the relevant requirements under Clause 3e(ii) shall be referred to as a “Qualified Spend Customer“. HSBC shall in its absolute discretion determine if a Registered Customer has satisfied the terms and conditions of this Promotion. HSBC’s records relating to this Promotion including any details relating to registration and Qualifying Spend shall be final and binding on all Eligible Customers.
    8. Each Qualified Spend Customer is entitled to maximum of one (1) S$200 worth of GrabGifts digital voucher (the “S$200 GrabGifts“), in each case as determined by the Bank in its sole discretion. The S$200 GrabGifts is limited to the first 1,875 redemptions.
    9. In the event that a Registered Customer’s Card is voluntarily or involuntarily cancelled or terminated or suspended for any reason, or the cardholder is determined by HSBC not to have fulfilled the conditions of the Promotion, HSBC reserves the right to disqualify such cardholder from receiving any gift.
  12. (C) Fulfilment

  13. An SMS containing the one (1) unique code (the “Spin Code“) for the purpose of the Promotion and the number of awarded Spin(s) will be sent to each Qualified Customer’s registered mobile number in HSBC’s records by 29 May 2025, barring any unforeseen technical delays.
  14. If there any issues regarding the non-receipt of an SMS containing the Spin Code, Qualified Customers must contact HSBC by 15 June 2025. Please refer to Clause 28 below for the relevant contact details.
  15. With each Spin, each Qualified Customer can participate in the Game to win one of the prizes as set out in the table below (each, a “Prize” and collectively, “Prizes”). There will be a total of 32,000 Prizes available to be won for the Promotion, in the following quantities. The Promotion is subject and limited to the availability of the Prizes below.

  16. Awarded Spin(s) must be utilised by Qualified Customers by submitting the relevant Spin Codes in the Game between 30 May 2025 and 30 June 2025. For the avoidance of doubt, the Spin Codes will not be valid once all the Prizes have been fully redeemed. Qualified Customers can access the Game at hsbc.com.sg/adventure. Unutilised Spin(s) will be forfeited.
  17. The Prize(s) allocated to each Qualified Customer through the Game will be chosen by our computer programme designed specifically for the purpose of the Promotion at 20 Pasir Panjang Road Level 13 Mapletree Business City East Lobby Singapore 117439. The computer programme will randomly allocate Prize(s) to Qualified Customer in real time.
  18. The random selection and allocation of Prize(s) to the respective Qualified Customer will be verified by external auditors. We reserve the discretion to change any of the Prize allocation mechanics without giving prior notice or reason. We may appoint any party as we deem fit as an external auditor for the Prize allocation.
  19. Each Qualified Customer can receive up to a maximum of one (1) Gift and/or three (3) Prize(s) depending on the number of awarded Spins.
  20. A redemption SMS containing details of the redemption of the Prizes/GrabGifts will be sent to each Qualified Customer’s registered mobile number in HSBC’s records by 31 July 2025, barring any unforeseen technical delays.
    1. If there any issues regarding the non-receipt of the redemption SMS, Qualified Customers must contact HSBC by 31 August 2025. In the event of any disputes in relation to the Promotion, HSBC’s decision shall be final.
    2. SMS delivery is dependent on the relevant telecommunication service providers. HSBC is not responsible in any manner whatsoever for any non-receipt of, or delay in the receipt of, any SMS by any party.
  21. For Qualified Customers who have won cash credit Prize(s), the cash credit Prize(s) will be automatically credited to their Registered Card account/Personal Line of Credit account used primarily for the Promotion by 31 July 2025. If you have both Card account & Personal Line of Credit account, the cashback will be credited into your card account.
  22. With regards to the S$200 GrabGifts and GrabGifts
    1. GrabGifts is a digital voucher issued in the form of a promo code via an SMS. The Qualified Spend Customer who has redeemed the promo code for the Gift may use the Gift by accessing the Grab mobile app and selecting which category (i.e. GrabMart, GrabFood, GrabRide or GrabExpress) to apply the Gift. Once the Qualified Spend Customer has selected which category to apply the Gift on the Grab mobile app, no changes can be made to switch categories and/or denomination. When using the GrabGifts digital voucher, if the purchase is less than the value of voucher, no refunds of the unutilized portion of the GrabGifts digital voucher will be refunded to the Qualified Spend Customer. Likewise, if the purchase when using the GrabGifts digital voucher is above the value of voucher, the cost of the purchase in excess will be borne by the Qualified Spend ustomer and must be charged to a HSBC Credit Card. The Gift is subject to the terms and conditions governing GrabGifts vouchers.
    2. The GrabGifts is not exchangeable for cash, reward points, credit or kind in all cases, whether in whole or in part. HSBC may, at its discretion, substitute the GrabGifts with an item of equal or similar value without prior notice.
    3. Use of the GrabGifts is subject to the terms and conditions of the merchant providing the relevant products and/or services; please refer to the respective merchant for details. HSBC is not a supplier of the products and/or services provided by the merchant(s) involved in this Promotion and will not accept any liability in relation thereto. There will be no replacement of lost, defaced, damaged or stolen GrabGifts after issuance.
  23. With regards to the Flights:
    1. A letter containing the details of redemption of the relevant Flight (“Letter”) will be sent to each Qualified Customer by registered mail at his/her address in HSBC’s records by 31 July 2025. Each Winner must notify HSBC by 15 August 2025 if they have not received the Letter.
    2. The Flights will be awarded in the form of KrisFlyer miles directly to each relevant Winner’s KrisFlyer membership account:

      i. 226,500 miles for 1x Business Class return ticket to London

      ii. 54,000 miles for 1x Economy Class return ticket to Tokyo

      iii. 17,000 miles for 1x Economy Class return ticket to Bali

    3. As of 1 January 2025, the number of KrisFlyer miles stated above can be used to redeem the respective tickets.
    4. To receive the Flights, each relevant Winner must have a valid KrisFlyer membership account by such date as may be notified by HSBC.
    5. The awarded KrisFlyer miles can only be used for the redemption of base air fare and cannot be used to offset any taxes or surcharges.

  24. (D) General

  25. The Gifts are not exchangeable for cash, rewards points, credit or any other item in all cases, whether in whole or in part.
  26. HSBC assumes no liability for any Gifts and/or Prizes that are lost during mailing or delivery.
  27. The Qualifying Spend accumulated by a Registered Customer for this Promotion is not valid for the purpose of, and cannot be used for, any other offers or promotions unless otherwise stated.
  28. In the event that the Registered Customer terminates his/her banking relationship with the Bank for any reasons whatsoever, or a Qualified Customer is determined by HSBC (in its sole discretion) not to have fulfilled the conditions of the Promotion for any reason, HSBC reserves the right to disqualify the Qualified Spend Customer at its sole discretion. At the time of crediting of the Prize, the relevant Registered Customer account must be valid (i.e. must not be suspended, cancelled and/or terminated, in good standing, and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner, as determined by the Bank in its sole and absolute discretion (and the Bank shall not be obliged to disclose its reason), failing which, the Prize will be forfeited and the Bank shall also be entitled to recover the whole or any part of the Prize (or such equivalent value) given to him/her.
  29. HSBC’s records relating to this Promotion including but not limited to any details relating to registration and Qualifying Spend shall be final and binding on all cardholders.
  30. HSBC reserves the right to vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions, or withdraw or alter the Promotion at any time. Where the amendment, variation or supplement is unfavourable to you, HSBC will only amend, vary or supplement the terms of this Promotion where HSBC, acting reasonably, determines that such amendments, variations or supplements are reasonably necessary to:
    1. reflect changes to our operational costs, business operations or systems and processes, or our arrangements with third parties;
    2. give effect to regulatory change, recommendation or guidance, or applicable law;
    3. reflect changes to industry or market conditions or practices
    4. align with standards or expectations including in respect of the banking practices or environmental, social and governance practices; or
    5. otherwise protect our legitimate interests.
  31. Should there be any issues related to this Promotion, Customer is required to contact HSBC at 1800-HSBC NOW (4722 669) by 31 August 2025.
  32. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
