Tap and Grab (“Promotion”) Terms and Conditions

A. Promotion-Specific Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

  1. This Promotion:
    1.   is offered by HSBC Bank (Singapore) Limited (“HSBC“, “we” or “us“);
    2.  commences on 1 to 31 July 2025, both dates inclusive (the “Promotional Period 1“);
    3. commences on 1 to 31 August 2025, both dates inclusive (the “Promotional Period 2“); and
    4. commences on 1 to 30 September 2025, both dates inclusive (the “Promotional Period 3“); together with Promotional Period 1 and Promotional Period 2, the “Campaign Period“.
    5. is applicable to selected customers who meet all the following criteria during the Promotional Period (collectively referred to as “Eligible Customers” and each, an “Eligible Customer“) and is not transferrable.
  2. who hold one or more main HSBC Advance/Revolution or Visa Platinum credit cards issued by HSBC in Singapore (each, a “Card” and collectively referred to as “HSBC Credit Cards”) as a primary credit cardholder; and
    1. whose Card account is in good standing with HSBC over the entire Promotional Period and at the time of fulfillment (as determined by HSBC at its discretion); and
    2. who have been notified via eDM and/or Push Notification sent by HSBC, in respect of this Promotion.
  3. HSBC reserves the right to determine at our discretion whether:
    1.  Eligible Customer(s) have met all the requirements of this Promotion; and
    2. Charges made to the Card qualify towards fulfilment of the relevant accumulated minimum Qualifying Spend (as defined below) set for the purposes of this Promotion.

    4. Promotion Mechanics

  4. To participate in this Promotion, an Eligible Customer must add their HSBC Advance/Revolution or Visa Platinum credit card to Apple Pay or Google Pay and charge a minimum of 3 retail transactions using Apple Pay or Google Pay during the Promotional Periods, to receive a S$15 GrabGifts voucher (“Voucher”). For the purposes of this promotion, retail transactions include purchases made in-store or online via Apple Pay or Google Pay on HSBC Credit Cards.

  5. By participating in this Promotion, an Eligible Customer consents to the use of his/her personal data (Eligible Customer’s telephone number and email address) by the Bank to contact him/her with updates and offers via SMS and/email relating to this Promotion, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and our data protection policy.
  6. For the purpose of Clause 3 which the Eligible Customer is entitled to under the Promotion, Qualifying Transactions made with the primary and supplementary Card(s) will be combined and consolidated under the primary Card account (“Account”):

    7. “Qualifying Spend” refers to posted retail purchases and in the case of HSBC Spend Instalment, only the total purchase amount will qualify as a Qualifying Transaction in the month of purchase.   7. All Eligible Transactions with dates charged within the Promotional Period 1 must be posted to the Eligible Customer’s Account(s) by 7 August 2025. All Eligible Transactions with dates charged within the Promotional Period 2 must be posted to the Eligible Customer’s Account(s) by 7 September 2025. All Eligible Transactions with dates charged within the Promotional Period 3 must be posted to the Eligible Customer’s Account(s) by 7 October 2025. HSBC is not responsible for any failure or delay in the transmission or late posting of transactions by any party, including but not limited to any acquiring merchants, merchant establishments or telecommunications provider.

    8. Fulfilment

  8. GrabGifts voucher is limited to one redemption per Eligible Customer during the Campaign Period, regardless of the number of times the customer is notified via eDM and/or Push Notification sent by HSBC, in respect of this Promotion. The Voucher will be extended through promo codes to Customer’s registered Singapore mobile number with HSBC by 31 October 2025, barring any unforeseen technical delays. Promo codes must be entered at checkout page to enjoy the offer. and customers redeeming the vouchers would be required to pay with their HSBC Credit Card to settle any remaining credits for their Grab payment.
  9. Only Accounts that are maintained in good standing and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner as determined by HSBC at the time of voucher fulfillment will be eligible for the Promotion. If the relevant Account is delinquent, voluntarily or involuntarily closed or terminated or suspended for any reasons whatsoever before the Voucher are extended into the said Account, HSBC reserves the right to forfeit the Voucher. HSBC reserves the right to cancel and void any Voucher awarded to an Account at any time if it determines that the relevant Eligible Customer has not fulfilled the terms and conditions of the Promotion.
  10. The Promotion is not valid in conjunction with other offers, campaigns , promotions, privileges and vouchers, or such other promotions unless otherwise specified. In other words, the same customer cannot receive both the Voucher under this Promotion, and any other reward, gift or account credit or promotional rate from other promotions, unless otherwise specified.
  11. Other general terms and conditions governing this Promotion apply. Please refer to the other terms and conditions set out under the section headed “General Terms and Conditions” for details. The Promotion-Specific Terms and Conditions and the General Terms and Conditions shall collectively be referred to as the “Promotional Terms and Conditions”.

    12. B. General Terms and Conditions

  12. We may determine in our reasonable discretion whether any given customer is eligible for this Promotion and/or whether such customer has met all the relevant requirements under these Promotional Terms and Conditions.
  13. Our records in respect of the Promotion shall be conclusive and binding on you.
  14. We may revise these Promotional Terms and Conditions (including but not limited to varying the promotional mechanics under this Promotion or the Promotional Period), or withdraw or alter any part of this Promotion at any time, if it is reasonably necessary to:
    1.   reflect changes to our operational costs, business operations, systems and processes, our arrangements with third parties or industry or market conditions or practice;
    2.  give effect to applicable law, rule, regulation or change, requirement, order, notice, recommendation or guidance issued by any regulatory or governmental authority, stock exchange, or body having jurisdiction over us or a court of competent jurisdiction;
    3. align with standards or expectations on practices relating to banking and financial services, environmental, social and governance, consumer and investor protection, cyber, digital, technology, operational resilience or taxation; or
    4. otherwise protect our legitimate interests.

    The updates include amendments to but not exclusive to:

    1. the Promotional Period;
    2. the eligibility criteria for the Promotion;
    3. the Voucher the Eligible Customer is entitled to receive

    To the extent reasonably practicable, we’ll give you reasonable notice of any changes to these Promotional Terms and Conditions before such change takes effect. Notification of any such changes may be placed at our branches, published on our website, sent through email or mobile, or via any other method we think is reasonably appropriate.

    If you don’t agree with a change, you can cease to participate in this Promotion.

  15. None and no part of these Promotional Terms and Conditions may be recorded, reproduced, shared, copied, stored or transmitted in any form or by any means, whether electronic, mechanical, photocopying, photographing, recording or otherwise without our prior written consent. These Promotional Terms and Conditions remain our property, and all our rights are reserved.
  16. These Promotional Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
