A. Promotion-Specific Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

  1. This Promotion:
    1. is offered by HSBC Bank (Singapore) Limited (“HSBC“, “we” or “us“);
    2. commences on 15 May 2025 and ends on 31 July 2025, both dates inclusive (the “Promotional Period“); and
    3. is applicable to our customers who meet all the following criteria during the Promotional Period (collectively referred to as “Eligible Customers” and each, an “Eligible Customer“):
      1. who hold a HSBC Personal Line of Credit Account (the “Account“)
      2. who hold one or more main HSBC Credit Cards (except HSBC US Dollar Cards, HSBC Corporate Cards, and HSBC Debit Cards) issued by HSBC in Singapore (each, a “Card“) as a primary credit cardholder; and
      3. whose Card account is in good standing with HSBC over the entire Promotional Period and at the time of fulfillment (as determined by HSBC at its discretion)
  2. HSBC reserves the right to determine at our discretion whether:
    1. Eligible Customer(s) have met all the requirements of this Promotion; and
    2. Charges made to the Card qualify towards fulfilment of the relevant accumulated minimum Qualifying Spend (as defined below) set for the purposes of this Promotion.
  3. Promotion Mechanics

  4. To participate in this Promotion, an Eligible Customer must charge a minimum Qualifying Spend of S$3,000 on any of the Eligible Categories during the Promotional Period. As set out in Clause 7 below, the Eligible Customer will be eligible for different tiers of prizes depending on whether their Qualifying Spend is more than S$3,000, S$6,000, or S$12,000.
  5. By participating in this Promotion, the Eligible Customer agrees that HSBC and Our Service Providers may collect, use and disclose their information (including personal data), for the following purposes in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and our data protection policy:
    1. To administer this lucky draw, including to contact you for the administration of prizes in relation to this lucky draw.
    2. To disclose and/or publish your name, particulars, and pictures/photographs for publicity purposes.
  6. For the purposes of this Promotion:

    Qualifying Spend” shall mean posted retail transactions including Local Retail Transactions, Online Transactions and Overseas Transactions on eligible categories charged to a Card account of an Eligible Customer (as defined below) and/or to the account of the supplementary cardholder of the relevant Eligible Customer (as defined below) during the Promotional Period.

    Local Retail Transactions” shall mean retail transactions which are successfully carried out in Singapore dollars and charged to a Card account and/or to the account of the supplementary cardholder of the relevant Eligible Customer.

    Online Transactions” shall mean all retail transactions successfully charged to a Card account and/or to the account of a supplemental cardholder of an Eligible Customer made via the internet and processed by the respective merchants/acquirers as an online transaction type through the MasterCard International Incorporated and/or Visa Worldwide networks during the Promotional Period.

    Overseas Transactions” shall mean all overseas transactions successfully carried out outside Singapore and charged in foreign currency to a Card account and/or to the account of a supplemental cardholder of an Eligible Customer during the Promotional Period.

    For the avoidance of doubt, the Eligible Categories are determined by the following Merchant Category Codes (“MCC“). A Merchant Category Code (MCC) is a four-digit number assigned to a merchant/business by the merchant’s acquiring bank. The acquiring bank provides the credit card payment facilities used by the merchant, and it determines and applies (with respect to the account), the MCC which in its view best describes the merchant activity. HSBC does not determine the merchant’s MCC.

    Excluded Transactions” shall mean any of the following (which shall, where applicable, be determined based on the transaction descriptions reflected in HSBC’s system and the merchant category codes from Visa / MasterCard):

    • Foreign exchange transactions (including but not limited to Forex.com);
    • Donations and payments to charitable, social organisations and religious organisations;
    • Quasi-cash transactions (including but not limited to transactions relating to money orders, traveler’s checks, gaming related transactions, lottery tickets and gambling);
    • Payments made to financial institutions, securities brokerages or dealers (including but not limited to the trading of securities, investments or crypto-currencies of any kind);
    • Payments on money payments/transfers (including but not limited to Paypal, SKR skrill.com, CardUp, SmoovPay, iPayMy);
    • Payments to any professional services provider (including but not limited to GOOGLE Ads, Facebook Ads, Amazon Web Services, MEDIA TRAFFIC AGENCY INC);
    • Top-ups, money transfers or purchase of credits of prepaid cards, stored-value cards or e-wallets (including but not limited to Grab Top-Up, EZ-Link, Transitlink, NETS Flashpay and Youtrip);
    • Payments in connection with any government institutions and/or services (including but not limited to court costs, fines, bail and bond payment);
    • Payments to educational institutions;
    • Any AXS (including AXS Pay+Earn) and ATM transactions;
    • Any payments or transactions on Carousell;
    • Tax payments;
    • Payments for cleaning, maintenance and janitorial services (including property management fees);
    • Payments to insurance companies (including but not limited to sales, underwriting, premiums and insurance services);
    • Payments on utilities;
    • The monthly instalment amounts under the HSBC Spend Instalment and HSBC 0% Card Instalment Plans; In the case of HSBC Spend Instalment, only the total purchase amount will qualify as a Qualifying Spend in the month of purchase.
    • Balance transfers, fund transfers, cash advances, finance charges, late charges, HSBC’s Cash Instalment Plan, any fees charged by HSBC;
    • Any unposted, cancelled, disputed and refunded transactions,
  7. All Qualifying Spend with transaction dates charged within the Promotional Period must be posted to the Eligible Customer’s Card account by 7 August 2025. HSBC is not responsible for any failure or delay in the transmission or late posting of transactions by any party, including but not limited to any acquiring merchants, merchant establishments or telecommunications provider.
  8. If any Qualifying Spend is cancelled or reversed during or after the Promotional Period, such cancelled or reversed amount shall not be counted for the purposes of determining whether the Eligible Customer has met the Qualifying Spend requirements under Clause 3.
  9. If an Eligible Customer holds more than one Card in his/her name, all Qualifying Spend transactions charged to those Cards will be aggregated together for the purposes of determining whether the Eligible Customer has met the Qualifying Spend requirements under Clause 3.
  10. Supplementary cardholders are not eligible for this Promotion. However, if an Eligible Customer has one or more supplementary cards under his/her main Card account, Qualifying Spend made by the supplementary cardholders will be consolidated under such main Card account for the purpose of determining whether the Eligible Customer has met the Qualifying Spend requirements under Clause 3.
  11. An Eligible Customer who has satisfied all the relevant requirements under Clause 3 shall be referred to as a “Qualified Spend Customer“. HSBC shall in its absolute discretion determine if an Eligible Customer has satisfied the terms and conditions of this Promotion. HSBC’s records relating to this Promotion including any details relating to registration and Qualifying Spend shall be final and binding on all Eligible Customers.
  12. If any Qualifying Spend is cancelled or reversed during or after the Promotional Period such that the total Qualifying Spend charged to an Eligible Customer during the Promotional Period falls short of the relevant minimum Qualifying Spend, the relevant Cardholder will not be considered to have met the Qualifying Spend and will not be considered a Qualified Spend Customer.
  13. In the event that an Eligible Customer’s Card is voluntarily or involuntarily cancelled or terminated or suspended for any reason, or the cardholder is determined by HSBC not to have fulfilled the conditions of the Promotion, HSBC reserves the right to disqualify such cardholder from receiving any Prize.
  14. Fulfilment

  15. Each Eligible Customer who charges a minimum Qualifying Spend of S$3,000, S$6,000, or S$12,000 will be eligible for a chance to win a prize (the “Prizes“) in the Third Tier, Second Tier, or the First Tier respectively (see below) (collectively, the “Qualifying Spend Customers“). The winners of the Prizes will be selected randomly from the Qualifying Spend Customers who have met the Qualifying Spend in the respective tier(s) by means of a computerized draw using a randomization formula under the supervision of an external auditor (the “Draw“). The Draw will be conducted on 1 September 2025, between 9am to 6pm at HSBC’s office located at Mapletree Business City, 20 Pasir Panjang Road (East Lobby) Level 13, Singapore 117439. The number of winners of the Draw (each, a “Winner“) and the prizes that will be awarded (each, a “Prize“) are as follows:
    First Tier Minimum Qualifying Spend: S$12,000

    • 1 x Business class ticket to Shanghai (in form of 100,000 KrisFlyer miles),

    Second Tier Minimum Qualifying Spend: S$6,000

    Third Tier Minimum Qualifying Spend: S$3,000

    ^Prize is awarded in the form of cash credit to the Winner’s Card account used to incur the Qualifying Spend.

  16. Qualifying Spend Customers who did not win a Prize in their respective tier will automatically be enrolled for the Draw in the next lower tier. (i.e. if the Qualifying Spend Customer who is eligible for First Tier did not win a Prize, he/she will be eligible to participate in the Draw for the Second Tier. Qualifying Spend Customer will continue to be eligible for the Draw for the Third Tier if he/she still did not win a Prize in the second Tier).
  17. The Qualifying Spend Customers who have won a Prize (the “Winners“) will be announced on HSBC’s website at hsbc.com.sg/2025midyear within 7 working days from the date the Draw is conducted (the “Draw Date“). In addition:
    1. For Winners of KrisFlyer Miles, a letter containing the details of redemption of the relevant Prize (“Letter“) will be sent to each Winner by mail to his/her Singapore address in HSBC’s records within 7 working days from the Draw Date.
    2. For Winners of Mandai Rainforest Resort Stay and COMO Vouchers, a SMS containing details of the redemption of the Prizes will be sent to the Singapore mobile number in HSBC’s records by 30 September 2025, barring any unforeseen technical delays.
      1. If there any issues regarding the non-receipt of the redemption SMS, Qualified Customers must contact HSBC by 10 October 2025. In the event of any disputes in relation to the Promotion, HSBC’s decision shall be final.
      2. SMS delivery is dependent on the relevant telecommunication service providers. HSBC is not responsible in any manner whatsoever for any non-receipt of, or delay in the receipt of, any SMS by any party.
    3. For Winners of Entertainment Credits, the cash credit Prize will be automatically credited to the Card account used to incur the Qualifying Spend by 30 September 2025.

    Each Winner must notify HSBC by 10 October 2025 if they have not received the Letter/SMS.

  18. Each Eligible Customer may win a maximum of one (1) Prize (i.e. if a Qualifying Spend Customer is selected as a Winner of any given Prize, he/she shall not be eligible to be selected as a Winner of any other Prize). The Prizes are non-transferrable, non-redeemable for cash, non-assignable, non-exchangeable and non-replaceable; save that HSBC may, at its discretion, substitute a Prize with an item or items of equal or similar value. Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, provincial and local taxes that may apply to the Prizes. In the event that a Winner elects not to collect or utilize all or any portion of a Prize, such Prize or portion thereof shall be deemed forfeited.
  19. Use of the Prizes is, where applicable, subject to the terms and conditions of the merchants providing the relevant products and/or services (save for the Entertainment Credits under the Third Tier, which will be provided by HSBC), please refer to the respective merchants for details. Save for the Entertainment Credits, HSBC is not a supplier of the products and/or services provided by the merchants involved in this Promotion and will not accept any liability in relation thereto. There will be no replacement of any lost, defaced, damaged or stolen Prize (or any part of it) after issuance.
  20. With regard to the Prizes related to KrisFlyer miles:
    1. The KrisFlyer miles will be directly credited to each relevant Winner’s KrisFlyer membership account.
    2. To receive the Prize, each relevant Winner must have a valid KrisFlyer membership account by such date as may be notified by HSBC.
    3. The awarded KrisFlyer miles can only be used for the redemption of base air fare and cannot be used to offset any taxes or surcharges.
    4. Use of the awarded KrisFlyer miles is subject to the terms and conditions of the KrisFlyer Programme. For further details, please visit https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/ppsclub_krisflyer/termsconditions-kf.
  21. With regard to the Prizes related to COMO Vouchers:
    1. The COMO Voucher is valid for one year from the date of issue.
    2. The COMO Voucher is only valid for dine-in or take-away (where applicable) at Candlenut, Cédric Grolet Singapore, COMO Cuisine, COTE Korean Steakhouse, Culina Bistro, AT feast, Glow, Ippoh Tempura Bar by Ginza Ippoh, Pangium, The Dempsey Cookhouse and Bar, and Torno Subito Singapore, and for retail at Culina and SuperNature.
    3. Reservations at restaurants are subject to availability and advanced booking is recommended to ensure a table to use the COMO Voucher for dine-in.
    4. The COMO Vouchers are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and is redeemable for payment in a single transaction only. Any unused voucher value will be forfeited.
    5. The COMO Vouchers must be presented at point of payment to the redemption establishment.
    6. The COMO Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other vouchers, ongoing discounts, privileges or promotions at the redemption establishments.
    7. Usage of the COMO Voucher does not earn any COMO credits at point of redemption.
    8. COMO Lifestyle Pte Ltd is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged or misused Vouchers, and such Vouchers shall not be refunded or replaced.
    9. The COMO Vouchers are valid only if issued and stamped by authorized personnel of COMO Lifestyle Pte Ltd.
    10. The COMO Vouches are subject to verification at the time of presentation to the redemption establishments.
    11. COMO Lifestyle Pte Ltd reserves the rights to amend the terms and conditions on the use of the Vouchers.
    12. The COMO Voucher is not valid for online use.
  22. With regard to the Prizes related to 2D1N Mandai Rainforest Resort Stay Voucher (“Stay Voucher“):
    1. Validity of the Stay Voucher is 7 months from voucher start date.
    2. The Stay Voucher is valid for the period indicated and cannot be extended.
    3. Advance booking is required and subject to availability. Changes or cancellations may result in forfeiture or additional costs and are subject to the hotel’s policies at https://www.banyantree.com/terms-and-conditions.
    4. To make a booking, please contact the Reservations Team at [email protected].
    5. The last date to make a booking is 31 March 2025.
    6. The last date for the stay period using the Stay Voucher is 30 April 2026.
    7. Blackout dates apply. Blackout dates are as follows: 2-5 October 2025, 20 October 2025, 24-25 December 2025, 31 December 2025 – 2 January 2026, 17-18 February 2026, 20 March 2026, and 3 April 2026.
    8. The Stay Voucher cannot be exchanged for cash or other services. Any balance amount or unused services will not be refunded.
    9. The Stay Voucher cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts or offers, unless stated otherwise.
    10. The original Stay Voucher must be presented at check-in. Lost or damaged vouchers will not be replaced or accepted.
  23. With regard to the Prizes related to Entertainment Credits:
    1. To receive the Entertainment Credits, each relevant Winner must have the Card account is in good standing with HSBC at the time of fulfillment.
    2. The awarded Entertainment Credits can be used to offset any outstanding payments due on your last active Card account for Entertainment MCCs.
    3. The Entertainment Credits is not exchangeable for cash, Reward points, credit or kind in all cases, whether in whole or in part. HSBC may, at its discretion, substitute it with an item of equal or similar value.
    4. The Entertainment Credits will be awarded in the form of cash credits and will be automatically credited to the last active Card account within 2 months after the Draw.
  24. In the event any Winner is uncontactable, fails to collect a Prize, and/or is determined by HSBC to be disqualified or otherwise ineligible to receive a Prize (each, an “Ineligible Winner“), the Prize will be forfeited by the Ineligible Winner. HSBC shall have the right to award the Prize to another Qualified Spend Customer at their discretion.
  25. The Promotion is not valid in conjunction with other offers, campaigns, promotions, privileges and vouchers, or such other promotions unless otherwise specified. In other words, the same customer cannot receive both the Prize under this Promotion, and any other reward, gift or account credit or promotional rate from other promotions, unless otherwise specified.
  26. Other general terms and conditions governing this Promotion apply. Please refer to the other terms and conditions set out under the section headed “General Terms and Conditions” for details. The Promotion-Specific Terms and Conditions and the General Terms and Conditions shall collectively be referred to as the “Promotional Terms and Conditions“.
  27. B. General Terms and Conditions

  28. The HSBC Credit Card Agreement, and the relevant product terms (collectively, the “Account Terms“) will apply to govern the relevant product respectively. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Promotional Terms and Conditions and the Account Terms, in respect of this Promotion, the Promotional Terms and Conditions shall apply to the extent of the conflict or inconsistency.
  29. We shall be entitled to a reasonable period of time to process instructions, and we may not complete a transaction on the same day of receipt of the customer’s application or instructions. We shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from any such delay in effecting instructions or transactions.
  30. We may determine in our reasonable discretion whether any given customer is eligible for this Promotion and/or whether such customer has met all the relevant requirements under these Promotional Terms and Conditions.
  31. Our records in respect of the Promotion shall be conclusive and binding on you.
  32. We may revise these Promotional Terms and Conditions (including but not limited to varying the promotional mechanics under this Promotion or the Promotional Period), or withdraw or alter any part of this Promotion at any time, if it is reasonably necessary to:
    1. reflect changes to our operational costs, business operations, systems and processes, our arrangements with third parties or industry or market conditions or practice;
    2. give effect to applicable law, rule, regulation or change, requirement, order, notice, recommendation or guidance issued by any regulatory or governmental authority, stock exchange, or body having jurisdiction over us or a court of competent jurisdiction;
    3. align with standards or expectations on practices relating to banking and financial services, environmental, social and governance, consumer and investor protection, cyber, digital, technology, operational resilience or taxation; or
    4. otherwise protect our legitimate interests.

    The updates include amendments to but not exclusive to:

    1. the Promotional Period;
    2. the eligibility criteria for the Promotion;
    3. the Prizes given;

    To the extent reasonably practicable, we’ll give you reasonable notice of any changes to these Promotional Terms and Conditions before such change takes effect. Notification of any such changes may be placed at our branches, published on our website, sent through email or mobile, or via any other method we think is reasonably appropriate.

    If you don’t agree with a change, you can cease to participate in this Promotion.

  33. None and no part of these Promotional Terms and Conditions may be recorded, reproduced, shared, copied, stored or transmitted in any form or by any means, whether electronic, mechanical, photocopying, photographing, recording or otherwise without our prior written consent. These Promotional Terms and Conditions remain our property, and all our rights are reserved.
  34. These Promotional Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
